The climbing season for Fremont Canyon runs from early spring to late fall. Spring snow showers are not uncommon into June and one should be prepared for sudden thunderstorms throughout the summer. Thanks to global warming, the last few summers have been brutally hot, so mid March thru May and September thru late October tend to be the most comfortable times for climbing. Although winter climbing is not the norm, due to the south facing nature of the climbs it's not unusual to go out on a calm sunny day in the middle of winter, when temperatures are in the 30's and find T-shirt weather in the canyon.
