CAMPING:
Camping is permitted at the bridge parking area. Staying here gives you access to picnic tables and a toilet, but it also can be popular to late night partiers and early morning bungee jumpers (disclaimer: bungee jumping from Fremont Canyon bridge is illegal). More private camping can be found along the road between the bridge an Pathfinder Res. all of this camping is undeveloped and free.
There are several developed camping areas around Alcova and Pathfinder Reservoirs. These areas have tables, fire pits, toilets, and some water.
FOOD:
Sloane's General Store, just off the highway in Alcove, has a decent selection of food and snacks, also cold beer and ice cream.
If Sloane's doesn't have what you need there are are several larger grocery stores in Casper.
For prepared meals, the Sunset Grill just east of Alcova has good burgers, more cold beer, air conditioning, and pool tables.
ENTERTAINMENT:
METRO COFFEE CO. - 241 S. David St. in Casper. Good coffee, pleasant atmosphere, art exhibit, local musicians. Check their web site for schedule.
WONDER BAR - 256 S. Center St. Smoke Free bar with large beer selection.
THE BEACON CLUB - 4100 W. Yellowstone Hwy. Local cowboy dive, loud, dark, smokey. Bad country western bands trying to play bad rock & roll. Very popular.
